Speaking on What’s Your Story? with Steph McMahon, Punk heavily praised Danhausen’s recent work in the industry and stated that a talent like Hausen wouldn’t have reached the same heights or made it to the company over a decade ago under the old regime. The Second City Saint claimed the chances were slim, and Stephanie McMahon agreed.

“But then, we have Danhausen. So like, I’m not complaining about this s**t. That kid is amazing. He really feels like somebody that wouldn’t have happened 15 years ago. He’s refreshing to me,” Punk said.

She added:

“Love Danhausen. I’m a Fanhausen for sure. He’s so fun. He’s everywhere,” McMahon said.

Danhausen and CM Punk will compete at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

After Danhausen finished his feud with The Miz and Kit Wilson, The Judgment Day tried to bribe him into cursing Oba Femi. Instead, the 35-year-old star stole their money, which started a feud between him and the faction. Later, it was confirmed that Danhausen will face The Judgment Day’s JD McDonagh in a No Disqualification match.

Earlier this month, CM Punk returned to the weekly product for the first time in months and won the Undisputed WWE Championship from Sami Zayn on Monday Night RAW. The Second City Saint quickly entered a program with Cody Rhodes, but got booked for a tag team match in New York against Gunther and Sami Zayn at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

The new champion will team up with The American Nightmare weeks before his title defense at SummerSlam in Minnesota. Both Danhausen and CM Punk will be featured at the same event at Madison Square Garden before The Biggest Party of the Summer.
