Speaking on Busted Open Radio, he addressed the possibility of the former Intercontinental champion being in the main event. He discussed a scenario that would see Seth Rollins walk out of SummerSlam as the new World Heavyweight Champion after beating Roman Reigns and said this could set up a feud with Knight.

He said the confrontation between Rollins and Knight last week on RAW has set things up nicely, and this week, WWE tested how invested fans are in the Megastar. He said he won’t be surprised if the creative used the Architect to get Knight over.

“If Seth is going to win and defeat Roman, and Roman is going to leave, and now it’s going to be LA Knight and Seth, and they used last week as a planting of the seed to see how it would go, and then last night was the follow-up as far as crowd investment, I would not be shocked to see them use Seth Rollins as your champion to get LA Knight over,” he said.

Bully Ray also said that the former US champion has a good chance of succeeding if he is chasing Rollins for the title.

“Both of them face-to-face, I think LA Knight has the best chance of succeeding, chasing Seth Rollins,” he added.

Bully’s comments come after Knight cut a promo last week on RAW, questioning why Rollins landed a title shot against Reigns. Rollins then told him that he would give him a shot at the Championship once he beats the OTC1.

LA Knight set for a tag team match at SummerSlam

This week on RAW, Jimmy Uso faced Royce Keys, and the match descended into chaos. Toward the end of the contest, Jacob Fatu attacked Keys, causing a disqualification.

This led to Solo Sikoa making his way to the ring, and after teasing a Bloodline reunion, he took down Jimmy with a Samoan Spike. However, Fatu and Jimmy got the upper hand until LA Knight rushed out.

After clearing the ring, the Megastar challenged The Bloodline to a six-man tag team match at SummerSlam against him, Keys, and Sikoa.
