Speaking on the Phenomenally Retro podcast this week, Styles mentioned that he had a terrific reception in France. In the aftermath of the encounter, the Original El Grande Americano unmasked and revealed himself to be Chad Gable. He cut an emotional promo and thanked the fans.

There are now rumors that El Grande Americano could be looking at a title shot against Dominik Mysterio. The two have teamed up in the past, but given Americano’s popularity, the promotion may be looking to position him as the babyface chasing the gold.
