Omos could therefore be the perfect match for The Ruler. The Nigerian Giant has been away from WWE television for 906 days, since the April 5, 2024, episode of SmackDown, where he competed in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. After a lengthy period away from weekly programming, he appeared at AAA last year, putting himself back on wrestling fans’ radar.
Omos’ recent faceoff with Oba Femi at Worlds Collide is particularly interesting because Femi is currently involved in a rivalry with The Vision. WWE could use that connection to bring The Nigerian Giant back into the storyline and immediately give his return a meaningful direction.
The heel faction could view Omos as the perfect weapon to counter Oba Femi. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed can provide plenty of physicality. However, adding the former RAW Tag Team Champion would give the faction another giant capable of standing across the ring from Femi.
WWE could begin the angle with The Vision addressing its problems with The Ruler tonight on RAW. The faction could make it clear that they need someone capable of dealing with their powerful rival before Omos’ music hits.
Instead of immediately joining The Vision, The Nigerian Giant could initially make it clear that his only interest is confronting Oba Femi. This would allow WWE to establish that his return is motivated by unfinished business while leaving the door open for an alliance.
The heels could then offer Omos an opportunity to work alongside them. With both sides having a common enemy in Femi, the former RAW Tag Team Champion could eventually accept.
While this angle is speculative, it is not entirely impossible that Omos could show up. Fans will have to wait for tonight’s show to see if this comes to fruition.
Omos potentially returning to RAW and joining The Vision could be a strategic move
If the above scenario materializes, it would actually make sense. The recent faceoff between Omos and Femi at Worlds Collide would make the potential rivalry even more intriguing. WWE would already have a physical confrontation that could serve as the foundation for a larger storyline.
Also, adding Omos would significantly increase The Vision’s physical presence. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed already provide considerable power. However, The Nigerian Giant could become another major obstacle standing between Femi and the faction.
The creative team would not need to make The Ruler look weak, either. Omos could simply be presented as a new challenge, eventually leading to a singles match between the two giants.
There is currently no confirmation that Omos will return tonight or join The Vision. However, his recent interaction with Oba Femi gives WWE a logical storyline connection.
