Ahead of the match, Stratton was involved in a segment where she came to help Chelsea Green against Nia Jax and Lash Legend. However, she was overpowered by the duo, who laid her out and injured her ribs.

The Buff Barbie still went ahead with her title defense, but Jacy Jayne continued to target her ribs. With Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid at ringside, Stratton was fighting against the odds.

Towards the end of the contest, Chelsea Green, who was also at ringside, confronted Reid and Henley. Stratton took out both Fatal Influence members with a dive, but when she got into the ring, Jayne hit her with the Rolling Encore.

This allowed Jayne to pin her and become the new Women’s United States champion. On X, WWE posted a video of Jayne celebrating the title win, and she reacted to it by sending a message.

Fatal Influence is dominating on WWE SmackDown

Jacy Jayne’s US title win means all members of the Fatal Influence are holding gold.

Last month at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid won the Women’s Tag Team Championship after beating Brie Bella and Paige at Madison Square Garden.

Last week on SmackDown, the duo successfully defended the titles against Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton. The faction also had a big win at SummerSlam, defeating the team of the Bella Twins and Paige in a six-woman tag team match.

Meanwhile, for Jacy Jayne, the win marks her third championship victory in WWE overall. She is a former two-time NXT Women’s champion before coming to the main roster.

The stable was called up to SmackDown in April, and since then, they have made a big impact in a short span of time.
