Following SummerSlam, Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes engaged in a back-and-forth promo battle on SmackDown. This week, Nick Aldis booked Rhodes in a singles match against Sami Zayn. If Zayn had won, he would have earned an Undisputed WWE Championship shot. However, the bout never started, thanks to The Viper.
Randy Orton blindsided The American Nightmare during his entrance, leading to an all-out brawl. WWE officials rushed in to separate the duo, but they couldn’t stop the 15-time World Champion.
At one point, Orton ruthlessly attacked a WWE official at ringside and continued targeting Rhodes. The Viper may now be in trouble with the sports…
