#5. WWE Superstar could return imminently – Report
The Vision’s Bronson Reed has been away from WWE television since February this year after suffering a distal biceps tear during an Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match.
It was recently reported by WrestleVotes via Fightful Select that the Aus-Zilla is likely to make his return in a matter of days. He is also expected to be pushed as a main event-level heel with talks of a future program with Oba Femi.
The report also suggested that Reed’s return had already been earmarked by the global juggernaut for several months.
#4. Major WWE Superstar has reportedly left after rejecting a new deal
In a surprising move, it appears that Ilja Dragunov has already exited WWE, with his name being moved to the alumni section on the promotion’s official website.
Meanwhile, False Finish reported that the Triple H-led company wanted to retain The Mad Dragon and offered him a fresh deal. However, it was turned down as the 32-year-old former United States Champion chose to let his contract run out.
Dragunov was last seen in the promotion when he participated in the Andre The Giant Memorial 2026 Battle Royal in April before WrestleMania 42.
#3. More WWE names expected to depart after Ilja Dragunov
This year has already seen a record number of exits from the Stamford-based promotion, with most of the departing names being released from the company. There have also been a few cases where the stars chose not to renew their deals like The New Day earlier this year, and now Ilja Dragunov.
Meanwhile, Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live has reported that several other contracts of main roster superstars are also coming up for expiration around October this year. Hence there is a huge possibility of some of those names also departing from the promotion.
“I was told that there are a few other people that are currently on the main roster whose deals are coming up around October, and we might see more on their way out,” Alvarez said.
With the report not mentioning specific names, it remains to be seen if further main roster stars leave the company in the months ahead.
#2. Danhausen pays tribute to WWE Hall of Famer
Danhausen is one of the most talked-about stars in the Stamford-based promotion and he was present at the recent house show during WWE’s Summer Tour in London, Ontario, where he paid a tribute to a Hall of Famer.
At the house show Danhausen got into a confrontation with Ricky Saints, who was booked for a match later against Kevin Owens.
After The Prizefighter picked up the win over Saints, Mr. Very Nice, Very Evil made matters worse for the former AEW star by hitting him with a Scorpion Death Drop, a move made famous by Hall of Famer, Sting.
After his tribute to the legendary Sting, Danhausen then broke into some dance moves much to the delight of the live crowd in London, Ontario.

#1. Sami Zayn is reportedly injured
It appears that the broken hand Sami Zayn was referring to on last week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown wasn’t just kayfabe but a legitimate injury.
A recent report from PWInsider has corroborated that Zayn has indeed picked up a hand injury. However, he is not expected to be away from WWE television for long, as he continues to appear in backstage segments during weekly shows.
The Underdog from the Underground last competed at SummerSlam where his scheduled number-one contender’s singles match for the Undisputed WWE Title was turned into a Fatal Four-Way Match, with Kevin Owens making his blockbuster return to the company. Owens pinned Zayn to pick up the win.
