Worlds Collide was planned to take place on September 26th to go head-to-head with AEW’s All Out pay-per-view. Both All Out and Worlds Collide took place in Chicago, Illinois.

The main event of the night was a six-person tag team match. Chicago’s own CM Punk, Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, and AAA Mega Champion El Grande Americano teamed up to take on Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, and Omos.

As mentioned earlier, the main event of Worlds Collide was the six-person tag team match. CM Punk’s team managed to pick up the win. After the match, the Nigerian Giant Omos looked to take out the babyfaces. But his plans were spoiled as former NXT Champion and 2026 King of the Ring winner Oba Femi showed up.

Both Omos and Femi had a staring contest, and in the end, the Ruler stood tall after knocking out the Nigerian Giant with a clothesline.

After taking care of Omos, Femi had a fun interaction with CM Punk.

Worlds Collide also marked the first time AAA World Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix and his brother, former Intercontinental Champion Penta, teamed up. They teamed up to take on Perros del Mal. The match ended in a disqualification as Angel Garza and Karmen Petrovic interfered.
