Lex Luger had a huge run in WCW, winning multiple championships there. He recalls a match in 1996, against Big Show, who was known in WCW as The Giant. Luger claims he was legitimately injured at the time, with Sting and the genuinely concerned for him.
The match was brought to Lex’s attention by an X account, “On This Day in WWE.” May 13th marked 30 years since that Luger vs. Giant match on Nitro. The 68-year-old recalled that he can still feel the impact of going through the table and hitting the cement floor even after three decades. He said he loved working with Big Show, who always took care of him, but that was a hard spot, and he legitimately injured his neck when he hit the floor.
