Paul Heyman recently posted an Instagram story where he revealed a crazy thing that most fans might’ve missed. The Empire State Building lit up with a dark green colour last night and Heyman pointed out that it was in honor of his custom suit that he wore on RAW. He even deemed himself as the King of New York and everywhere else.

“ICYMI; Just landed back home a moment ago. The rumors are true. The Empire State Building is lit up dark green tonight in honor of my custom green suit on WWE RAW tonight.King of New York (… and everywhere else)!,” he wrote.

While the Empire State Building might’ve been just using the green color for any other reason, it’s hilarious to see Paul Heyman take advantage of this opportunity to serenade himself.

Paul Heyman didn’t know that Brock Lesnar was retiring at WWE WrestleMania 42

In the opening contest of WrestleMania 42 Sunday, Paul Heyman accompanied Brock Lesnar to the ring. The Beast was set to face Oba Femi in a singles match after weeks of buildup. To everyone’s shock, The Ruler squashed the Conqueror within a few minutes to pick up the win in his WrestleMania debut.

Following the loss, Lesnar started removing his gloves and boots and left them in the ring. He started hugging Heyman and was even crying and it was clear that this marked the end of his wrestling career. In a recent interview with TMZ, Heyman revealed that he didn’t know this was going to happen.

“No. If I knew he was going to retire, would I have gone on record saying he’s going to dominate for the next 15 years? I was crying. Am I that good of an actor that I can cry on cue? Not I,” he said. [H:T/WrestleTalk]

It was truly shocking to see Brock Lesnar retire at WrestleMania 42.
