CJ Perry, fka Lana, is not in WWE as a star right now, but her husband, Rusev, is. It is not likely they would be brought together onscreen in the foreseeable future, but their personal relationship remains strong. Recently, Perry lost her Nana, and she even shared a video of some of her final moments with her. Rusev was by her side, telling her Nana John Cena’s story.
In the video posted by Perry, her Nana is seen on a hospital bed, wondering why Cena got everything. Rusev, who was his rival in WWE back in 2015, explained to her how John didn’t begin very well. The former United States Champion explained that the Greatest of All Time tried to be a professional bodybuilder, which didn’t work out. He also tried to get into the army, and he nearly made it, but got into wrestling and achieved the success he has.
