On Instagram, Green was spotted with filmmaker Mark Elias. The latter jokingly mentioned that he was about to be bodyslammed by the Interim Women’s Champion on set. This hinted at the possibility of Green working outside WWE and that she might star in a film.

Chelsea Green Is Set To Compete With Her Current Injury

Chelsea Green opened up about her current injury, claiming that no injury has ever kept her down. She recalled going through multiple injuries and even heart surgery, stating that at this point in her career, nothing will keep her down.

Speaking with eTalk, Green said:

“No broken bones are ever going to keep me down. At this point, I’ve had heart surgery, I’ve had a broken ankle, collarbone, nose, cheekbone, orbital bone, and three broken arms. Especially at this point in my career, there’s not a single thing that can happen to me that is going to keep me down because I’ve been waiting my entire career for this moment. So, I’m ready to go. Put me in, coach. I will fight with a broken orbital bone, whatever I need to do.”

Rhea Ripley is the reigning WWE Women’s Champion, and she is currently sidelined with an injury. A potential title unification match between her and Green could be on the cards if Green remains the Interim Champion by the time Ripley returns to TV.
