Seth Rollins interfered in the match and offered his help to Ford and Dawkins to capture the World Tag Team Championships in a backstage conversation later on the show. Montez Ford praised Rollins for his skill in the ring but noted that he was not to be trusted. Ford called out the former champion once again today on his Instagram story, and you can check it out in the image below.

“If you are trying to help and it is not working, you need to stop trying,” wrote Ford.

Gunther defeated Rollins at WrestleMania 42 after The Vision’s Bron Breakker interfered in the match. The Ring General is now in a rivalry with Cody Rhodes on SmackDown.

Seth Rollins discusses controversial WWE decision

RAW star Seth Rollins recently discussed Pat McAfee’s involvement in the Undisputed WWE Championship storyline between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton on the road to WrestleMania 42.

Speaking on the Unsportsmanlike podcast, Rollins noted that there was a balance when it came to celebrity appearances in wrestling and that the audience rejected the storyline.

“There was a big pushback against Pat McAfee when he came in, and it’s like, yeah he’s inserted into this WrestleMania main event storyline that already had 20 years of history with Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. Our audience is like, eh, maybe not. But when Pat was on commentary for us, he did a great job. And he did a couple of matches here and there. He did one in NXT that was awesome. He worked with GUNTHER, they had a great match. It’s just, in small doses,” said Rollins. (H/T: Cageside Seats)
