The Best in the World took to his Instagram story today to reveal his upcoming schedule following his title win and noted that he would present at a lot of upcoming dates. You can check out his message by clicking here.

“Look at the graphic I made. Plan accordingly. See yall soon. Champ sh**,” he wrote.

Sami Zayn defeated Gunther and Cody Rhodes in a Triple Threat match at Night of Champions to capture the title. It was the first time The Last Real Good Guy had ever won a major title in the company, and his reign only lasted nine days. There have been rumors as of late that Punk is expected to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Rhodes at SummerSlam.

WWE Hall of Famer claims Nick Aldis is responsible for CM Punk’s title win

Wrestling legend Bully Ray recently suggested that SmackDown GM Nick Aldis was responsible for CM Punk becoming champion.

Nick Aldis showed up during WWE RAW and claimed that he had found a replacement for Cody Rhodes. The replacement wound up being CM Punk, and Aldis essentially one-upped RAW General Manager Adam Pearce. Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray praised the storyline and suggested that Aldis’ actions led to the title change.

“Nick Aldis put his hands on Gunther a couple of weeks ago, gets relieved of his duties, suspended for a little while. Pearce takes over SmackDown. Pearce says, ‘We’re going to have the championship match on RAW’ because he’s the GM of RAW. He’s going to want the biggest match they could possibly have for Netflix… So what does Nick do? Nick is the one who gets in touch with Punk. It’s Nick’s phone call that got Punk to lace up his boots. Nick is the one who dropped the opportunity into Punk’s lap. Nick one-upped Pearce on his own show. What a nice little story in the midst of the bigger story,” said Bully Ray.

It will be interesting to see what lies ahead for CM Punk as Undisputed WWE Champion on SmackDown.
