According to Henry, Fatu is equal to Reigns in traits like physicality and toughness. All he needs now is more experience:

“On physicality and toughness, Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu are equal, but the one thing that you can’t teach is experience. Jacob is going through the growing pains… Once he has that experience, then he could definitely replace Roman. I’m gonna make sure that I have a ticket for that one.”

Still, becoming Reigns’ replacement is easier said than done. Despite criticisms over the years, he has pretty much been the guy carrying us into WWE’s TKO era. One has to also factor in names such as Oba Femi, Bron Breakker, and Trick Williams, who could pose a challenge to Jacob Fatu in taking over from Reigns.

Mark Henry holds WWE Champion Roman Reigns in high regard

In the same interview, Mark Henry had nothing but praise for The OTC. He went as far as to put him in the Mount Rushmore category of wrestling:

“I think Roman Reigns is safely a top 5 guy on the Mount Rushmore of wrestling…I think Roman is in the driver’s seat as the main star. He’s championship material.”

Lately, Roman Reigns has been in the news after being called “overrated” by podcast host Conrad Thompson, leading to plenty of debate online. Henry clearly does not think that is the case. In fact, the WWE Hall of Famer is looking forward to a dream match that would pit Reigns against The Rock – a contest that has been rumored for a long time.
