Apart from being one of the most talented professional wrestlers of the last decade, Balor is also a die hard Football fan. Over the last few weeks, he had been following the FIFA World Cup very closely. Finn’s wife Vero Rodriguez is a Mexican Sports Journalist and an Emmy-nominated Anchor who was also covering this year’s World Cup. She gave her husband an early birthday present by taking him to the finals of this year’s World Cup yesterday. Finn shared a picture from the match on his Instagram.

Finn Balor will turn 45 in a few days on July 25th. Despite his age, Balor moves in the ring like he’s still in his 20s.

Finn Balor made a major revelation about the Bullet Club

Finn Balor was the first leader of the Bullet Club, a faction that changed the course of professional wrestling world forever. The group debuted in New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2013 with Balor (Prince Devitt at the time) as their leader. In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet on his INSIGHT podcast, Balor revealed the group was originally just supposed to be him and Bad Luck Fale.

“No, not at all. I just wanted to have fun, and originally Bullet Club wasn’t supposed to be Bullet Club, it was supposed to be just me and [Bad Luck] Fale; So that’s kind of what made me stay, and within like two weeks of having the conversation of putting me and Fale together, it was Gedo’s idea, who was the booker at the time, said, ’Hey, you’re always with Karl Anderson, you’re always with Tama [Tonga].
