Oba Femi officially began a new rivalry on Monday Night RAW with a former Intercontinental Champion, and things got intense as Adam Pearce had to come out with a whole security team.
This week on RAW, The Vision’s Austin Theory would face The Alpha Academy’s Akira Tozawa in what was a rather predictable match. After Austin Theory won, The Vision began an attack on the Japanese superstar. However, it was a rather unlikely name who showed up to save the day, if that’s what it can be called. For some context, before the match, The Vision was interviewed before they headed to the ring. Bron Breakker stayed behind, looking lost, and Byron Saxton asked him what was wrong. Breakker asked Byron Saxton if he thought Oba Femi was the future, and Byron echoed Brock Lesnar’s sentiment – that he is the future. Breakker looked distraught and said he sounded like Paul Heyman. For those who don’t know, Breakker hasn’t been happy that Paul Heyman has been friendly towards Oba Femi following the end of the rivalry against Brock Lesnar. In Breakker’s eyes, Femi is a threat to his spot as the future top star of WWE.
