Speaking on The Sports Media Podcast, Spitzer stated that other than some ratings standards, the show had significantly loose rules on censorship:

“Not often, you know, obviously there’s rating standards that anyone has to adhere to. We’re Netflix, so we’re try, we try to be a little looser on that.”

Gabe Spitzer also spoke about how Netflix had asked the Stamford-based promotion to notify them earlier when scheduling high profile matches, to which the latter had quite receptive to.

“… If there’s a big matchup, can you let us know three, four, five weeks in advance so we can start promoting that outside of the platforms as you normally do, you know, on a RAW. And they’ve been very receptive to that.”

A WWE veteran criticized the censorship on RAW

According to former WWE star Stevie Richards, the Stamford-based promotion is making a mistake with censorship.

Speaking on The Stevie Richards Show, the veteran took the example of a segment involving Jacob Fatu and stated:

“You’re bleeping Jacob Fatu out on Netflix when they have interviews of people saying the f-word and the s-word and all this. Like, you’re actually telling people we’re not giving you the full experience for what you’re paying for. They are actively—are you just trying to get people to unsubscribe and not enjoy your show?”

As of now, it remains to be seen whether Triple H and Netflix will effect some changes when it comes to profanity in the programming.
