Seth Rollins on his WWE character

Seth Rollins opened up about his WWE character by claiming that he doesn’t prefer being a hero and isn’t similar to John Cena or Rey Mysterio. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion added that he usually gets bored with his character and prefers being the bad guy.

Speaking on ESPN’s Highlights with Omar in a recent interview, Seth Rollins said:

“You know, the truth is I’m not very good at being the hero. I can do it in short spurts, but I’m not like Cena. I’m not like Rey Mysterio. I get bored of myself, and I think people get bored of me. I much prefer being a bad guy. I think it suits me better. But most of my favorite moments are being a piece of trash,”

Seth Rollins had previously lost to Bron Breakker at the Backlash 2026 Premium Live Event. The two former Vision stablemates once again pushed each other to the limit on RAW, and despite Austin Theory’s interference, Breakker wasn’t able to get his hand raised.

The closing sequence of the match even saw Breakker spear Paul Heyman through a barricade before spearing himself into the World Tag Team Title that Rollins had smartly wrapped around his waist. This allowed The Visionary to hit the stomp and pick up the win.
