“SMH. Make the connection with the fans… Make the money…” Matt Cardona wrote.

Many stars in indie shows set up tables loaded with shirts and photos, turning fan interactions into supplementary income. Matt Cardona takes this seriously, as he wants wrestlers to interact with their fans. Not just that, selling their merchandise builds revenue, too. However, it requires showing up early, engaging directly, and making the best of their non-wrestling time.

Matt Cardona wants Danhausen to “uncurse” him

Danhausen’s curse is surely effective. Just look at the way the New York Knicks turned the tide in their favor after being uncursed by the Very Nice, Very Evil star to take the NBA 2026 title home. Now, Matt Cardona is a believer too; he doesn’t know if he’s been cursed, but wants Danhausen’s help to uncurse him, if he has been.

“This past Friday on SmackDown, I gave Danhausen my Rolex watch to keep the Knicks uncursed, and it worked. The New York Knicks won the NBA Finals last night. Congrats, Knicks, and thank you very much, Danhausen,” Cardona said, and continued: “And if you’re gonna uncurse another New Yorker, uncurse me, bro. These past five, six months I’ve come back to WWE haven’t exactly gone my way. I’m not sure if I’m cursed, but if I am, please uncurse me. And, can I get my watch back?”

Cardona took to X to send a message to the former AEW star. His time since returning to WWE hasn’t been that great, and he feels that Danhausen could help him turn things around.
