A recent report from WrestleVotes on Fightful Select claimed that Zilla Fatu has already made enough of an impression to be considered for the main roster soon. According to sources, people backstage believe that an early association with Zilla will set the stage for success in the long run.

The report further stated that the vignette that aired on RAW had a purpose beyond just promoting NXT Heatwave. It also was a soft introduction to Zilla Fatu for the main roster audience. This implies that the company may soon be moving him to the main roster.

A WWE veteran had high praise for Zilla Fatu

According to Natalya, Zilla Fatu has something special in him as a pro wrestler.

Speaking on Busted Open, Natalya talked about a conversation with Fatu she had backstage in WWE. She said:

“I was talking to Zilla backstage, and I was saying to him, ‘You do have something so special about you, and the numbers don’t lie.’ People are interested, and he is making people tune in to NXT, and that speaks volumes. Whether you like him, whether you hate him, people are watching, and he has a presence about him. He’s coming in with tons of confidence. And so it is hard not to watch him,” she said.

She also stated that Zilla’s presence has had an effect in the NXT locker room.

“Everybody is tuning in, and yeah, he comes from a famous family; I totally get it. But if it is p***ing off the other talent to want to do their absolute best work, then he serves his purpose just in that alone,” she added.

As of now, it remains to be seen what is next for Zilla Fatu in WWE.
