Knight is scheduled to battle Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank on October 10 in New Orleans. The Megastar is a former United States Champion but has never been able to capture a major title during his time on the main roster so far.
Reigns has held the World Heavyweight Championship since getting the better of CM Punk at WrestleMania 42. Punk also recently lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Sami Zayn on SmackDown but qualified for the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match this past Friday night on the blue brand.
The Head of the Table successfully defended the title against Penta on the September 14 edition of WWE RAW in Mexico City. Following the match, Knight marched to the ring and planted Reigns with a BFT in the middle of the ring.

Wrestling legend Bully Ray called out LA Knight for including jokes in his promo ahead of his title match against Roman Reigns.
Speaking on Busted Open, Bully Ray suggested that there was no room for jokes by Knight on the road to his World Heavyweight Championship bout against Reigns at MITB. The Hall of Famer added that he wanted to see Knight be extremely confident on RAW moving forward.
“I need to see LA Knight be extremely confident. I don’t need to see ego. I don’t need to see braggadocious. I like the fact that he was willing to put Roman and Penta over, especially giving Roman his props, but all that being said, ‘I’m still going on to Money in the Bank and I’m going to prove to you, Roman, how I wasn’t the guy for the past three years, but why I am the guy now.’ I don’t think there’s any room for the jokes or the self doubt for LA Knight,” Ray said. Only time will tell if Knight can defeat Roman Reigns at Money in the Bank to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
