#4 Reunite with Enzo Amore
There’s one clear option WWE has yet to explore that would solve Big Cass’s problems right away, and that’s to reunite him with Enzo Amore. Their chemistry before was fun because their contrasting personalities could mix in one package. Enzo would be able to talk his way into trouble, while Cass had the look in his eyes that said he could end it all with one boot to the face. For once, he would not have to look for someone to hurt every week, because he would finally have someone who could hurt with him.
They were one of the most popular tag teams in the last decade, and the reunion would help fill the vacuum on RAW’s tag team division.
#3 Make Him The Judgment Day’s Powerhouse
The Judgment Day could also use a shot of energy. Having lost to Je’Von Evans and Penta on the latest RAW, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh would benefit from having another imposing force joining their ranks. Cass would fill that role as the powerhouse who can eliminate problems the rest of the team can’t. He could stand behind Dominik while he’s doing a promo, cut off an opponent attempting to get to the ring, or even turn a ringside altercation into an actual threat.
It would provide the group with the much-needed edge and give Cass more TV time, which is what he needs right now. This booking kind of mimics what AAA is doing by pairing Dirty Dom with Omos.
#2 Pair Big Cass with Ethan Page
If a smaller pairing is desired, then Ethan Page might be a good option. He’s good at putting everything in perspective, and Cass would complete the duo by providing a threatening presence that makes sure no one interrupts them. WWE has already laid some groundwork for a connection between them, since Cass returned right after Evans defeated Page.
They could build on that by stating that Page was actually the one who set up the attack. Suddenly, Cass’s actions would have a reason, while Page would gain someone he could actually use to back up his threats. Page talks, Big Cass looms, and opponents must decide who worries them most. This alliance would also help Page contend for the WWE Intercontinental Championship and finally gain the upper hand on Chad Gable.
The key would be to make sure Cass is allowed to pursue his own agenda. A bodyguard is usually good for protecting the employer, but he can also be a liability if he gets in the way. In this case, it would only be a matter of when the WWE would realize that making a big mouth like Page the boss only makes him more vulnerable to attacks from Cass.
#1 Make His Attacks Impossible To Ignore
Cass’s attacks on Evans and Dragon Lee set him up as someone with intentions. Now WWE needs to make sure that it is remembered more than the episodes in which he suffered a loss. Have him interrupt an important match for Je’Von Evans, costing him a big opportunity. Then, let Dragon Lee confront him, only for Cass to put both of them down when Evans tries to fight back.
Another way to do this would be an interference at the upcoming Money in the Bank PLE, an opportunity he had lost due to Evans. That would give the WWE Universe the impression that you may get a win over Big Cass, but it is not easy to get rid of him.
Big Cass doesn’t need another surprise appearance. He needs to make sure everyone on Raw knows he’s a problem they can no longer ignore.
