Morgan was in a tough match against Charlotte Flair in the main event, but the fact that Flair had already been attacked, and Morgan was able to take advantage of her knee injury, wasn’t enough to see her past her.

The Queen put up a fight, but when Morgan locked in the submission on her knee, it was time for her to tap, and she even grabbed the champion’s hair to make it clear that she needed to break the hold.

It’s unclear where in the match Morgan suffered the neck injury, but it looks sore in the pictures that were shared on her Instagram. It’s not likely that this will affect Morgan’s plans heading into Night of Champions, since she has been able to compete with much worse injuries in her career and was able to step up ahead of WrestleMania despite a major head injury.

Liv Morgan is now in the Queen of the Ring final at Night of Champions

Liv Morgan will now face Iyo Sky in the final of the Queen of the Ring at Night of Champions next weekend. Sky qualified by defeating her Judgment Day teammate Raquel Rodriguez, and it seems that there could be some interesting plans for either woman if they win.

Liv Morgan could choose to challenge Rhea Ripley if she becomes Queen of the Ring, but Iyo Sky would have two options. Given her relationship with Ripley, it would make sense for her to face Liv Morgan since she has already been able to defeat her.

Rhea Ripley’s injury could cause some plans to change ahead of SummerSlam, since it’s unclear if Mami will be back in time to defend her title at the biggest event of the summer.
