WWE Official and forme star Hurricane Helms had an emotional reaction to the Prizefighter’s tweet. Helms said that the world of professional wrestling also misses Owens. Owens joined WWE back in 2014 after making a name for himself in Ring of Honor and major independent wrestling promotions. He even squashed John Cena on his first night on the main roster back in 2015.

“Wresting misses Kevin Owens,” he wrote.

Fans around the world are hoping that the Prizefighter heals back from his injury and returns to the squared circle soon.

Kevin Owens could win the Undisputed WWE Championship after he returns

Before he had to step away from in-ring competition due to his serious neck injury, Owens was involved in a blood feud for the Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes. During the feud, Owens even stole the Winged Eagle version of the WWE Championship that Cody brought out and started calling himself the real Champion.

The two had a very brutal Ladders match at last year’s Royal Rumble PLE for the Undisputed WWE Championship where Cody succesfully defended his title. Following that, Kevin had an Unsanctioned match with Sami Zayn at the Elimination Chamber and was scheduled to face Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41. However, the Mania plans were scrapped due to his injury.

Many fans believe that Kevin Owens should win the Undisputed WWE Championship after he returns from injury. Owens has arguably been the best feud Cody has had since winning his first WWE Championship. It would be fair to say that the Prizefighter deserves another reign as World Champion in the company.
