The Samoan Werewolf had handed Sikoa the offer directly to his face on WWE SmackDown. Still, the Street Champion isn’t interested in becoming Roman Reigns’ sidekick once again and has rejected the offer.
Meanwhile, Fatu is still chasing Solo. On the latest edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, Jacob warned Sikoa of taking too long to make his decision.
Later on the show, The Street Champion confronted Jacob Fatu and asserted that The OTC shouldn’t stick his nose into his family business. If things remain the same, he might come to his show and mess up their business.
With The MFT falling back from Sikoa’s side, and Roman Reigns wanting The Street Champion back, one thing is certain: The Bloodline saga is back with a bang, and the Stamford-based promotion may have some long-term plans for the iconic stable.
Over the years, Solo Sikoa has become a master manipulator, and there is a strong chance that the Street Champion may have sent a secret message to The OTC.
In this article, we will take a look at three reasons why the former WWE United States Champion may have sent Jacob Fatu a secret message for Roman Reigns on SmackDown.
#3. To slowly drift with The MFTs
Solo Sikoa may be interested in rejoining The Bloodline, but his crew, The MFT, could be the reason he keeps refusing the OTC’s offer.
Tama and Talla Tonga were visibly affected by The Bloodline’s interference in their family.
In a backstage segment, Tama Tonga, alongside Talla, told Solo Sikoa that his family issues were coming between their family business.
The giant seemed to agree with his tag partner, and the two left the locker room.
At the same time, a misunderstanding within The MFT cost Tama and Talla a chance to capture the WWE Tag Team titles, and the two left their leader alone, hinting at an imminent break-up on the horizon.
There could be a hidden secret behind it. Maybe Sikoa has been doing all this on purpose so he could force Tama and Talla to break The MFT themselves, and he could head back to The Bloodline without any real trouble.
He may have let Jacob Fatu know his master plan and asked him to tell his secret to Roman Reigns, and that could be the reason why The Tribal Wolf has not laid a finger on him.
#2. To let the WWE World Heavyweight Champion know his next threat
Roman Reigns already has two successful title defenses under his current reign, both against Jacob Fatu, and now he is waiting for the next test. Meanwhile, The OTC is sharpening his deadliest weapon in the form of The Bloodline.
LA Knight seems to be Roman Reigns’ SummerSlam opponent, as if this writing. But plans pivoting at the final minute have been a long-standing history with WWE.
The OTC messing with Sikoa may have enraged the Street Champion. As a result, he may have told Fatu to send The Tribal Chief a certain message that he is now coming after him, and he doesn’t want to be part of The Bloodline again, but indeed wants to wrap the Gold around his waist.
Hence, this may be the next phase in the ongoing Bloodline saga. A rivalry between Sikoa and Reigns once again is going to be fireworks. Especially when there is a lack of interesting storylines in World Wrestling Entertainment.
#1. Wanting to switch brands
During his backstage conversation with Jacob Fatu this SmackDown, Solo Sikoa made it clear that if Roman Reigns keeps messing around with his family, he may come to his brand to mess around with their family.
While many may see it as a threat, this could be a secret message from The Street Champion to The Original Tribal Chief to get his brand switched from the blue brand to WWE Monday Night RAW, so he could eventually return to the Bloodline, leaving The MFT and his SmackDown history behind.
All the pointers above are speculative and based on personal analysis, and nothing is confirmed. It will be interesting to see what plans Triple H and his WWE creative team have in store for the Bloodline saga in the coming months.
