The lack of progression in the storyline has irked the fans, with many stating that Johnny Gargano, along with his wife Candice LeRae, needs to leave WWE. Some also believe that the couple are on their way out of the company, and hence are not being booked properly.

Amid all the uncertainty about his future, Gargano recently appeared at WWE LFG as a guest coach. The former NXT Champion was not in his SmackDown character and woke up from his slumber.
