The following week on SmackDown, Green cut a passionate promo about her journey of becoming world champion in WWE. Nick Aldis seemed set to strip her of the gold before he changed his mind. The National Treasure gave the Canadian superstar 30 days to recover and return to the squared circle.
Chelsea Green recently appeared in an interview with eTalk. During the conversation, the 35-year-old reflected on her past injuries and claimed that she was willing to fight with a broken orbital bone.
“No broken bones are ever going to keep me down. At this point, I’ve had heart surgery, I’ve had a broken ankle, collarbone, nose, cheekbone, orbital bone, and three broken arms. Especially at this point in my career, there’s not a single thing that can happen to me that is going to keep me down because I’ve been waiting my entire career for this moment. So, I’m ready to go. Put me in, coach. I will fight with a broken orbital bone, whatever I need to do.”
Green revealed that she had a face mask ready for a potential title match. The Hot Mess added that she was prepared to enter the squared circle despite being hurt.
“Anything can happen. I have my face mask ready to go that can protect my orbital bone. So, if someone comes at me for this title, know that I am prepared.” [H/T: Ringside News]

Chelsea Green got physical on WWE SmackDown despite being injured
Chelsea Green has yet to be medically cleared by WWE. Despite being hurt, she saved her ally, Tiffany Stratton, from a beatdown at the hands of The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax & Lash Legend) on SmackDown.
Tiffany Stratton faced off against Legend in a singles match on this week’s SmackDown. The powerhouse defeated The Buff Barbie on the show. Following the match, Legend and Nia Jax launched an attack on the former Women’s United States Champion. Fortunately for Stratton, Green came to her rescue.
The Hot Mess used a kendo stick to take down The Irresistible Forces and protect her friend. Jax and Legend were ultimately forced to retreat.
