Nikki Bella Took A Dig At WWE’s Current Booking
Nikki Bella wasn’t happy with WWE’s current booking after the company cut a segment featuring her and Paige. She believes that at this point she would take the feud online, revealing her backup plan.
Speaking on The Nikki & Brie Show, the Hall of Famer said the following:
“At this point, if it turns into an online story, why not? I was just brainstorming yesterday, preparing; it kind of brought me back a decade ago. I need to be prepared for these things that might get cut. I was like, ‘Hey, we always made the most of things.’ It’s how we fought and got fire and made us want to break barriers more. So, I was getting very creative,”
Paige returned to WWE at WrestleMania 42. She replaced an injured Nikki Bella in the Women’s Tag Team Championship match and teamed up with her sister, Brie. The two captured the Women’s Tag Team Championships on The Grandest Stage of Them All by dethroning the duo of Nia Jax and Lash Legend, The Irresistible Forces.
The feud between Paige and The Bella Twins might have been put on hold due to the injury to Brie Bella at the SummerSlam Premium Live Event.
