“I would hate for him to wrestle like a civilian wrestles, like a GM. I have a feeling that we’re gonna see Nick Aldis in trunks and a beautiful pair of boots and he’s gonna be presented like a professional wrestler,” he said.

Dhesi criticized the promotion for not creating a highlight reel for Nick Aldis to show fans his previous work in the ring ahead of the PLE.

Aldis and Gunther signed the contract to make their SummerSlam match official this past Friday night on SmackDown. The Career Killer attacked the SmackDown GM during the segment and Powerbombed him through a table.

SmackDown GM Nick Aldis cost Gunther a shot at the Undisputed WWE Championship earlier this month at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Sami Zayn and Gunther teamed up to battle Cody Rhodes and CM Punk at SNME earlier this month at Madison Square Garden. If The Ring General and Zayn won the match, they would have been added to the title bout at SummerSlam.

However, Aldis interfered and bashed the former leader of Imperium over the head with the title, allowing Punk to quickly capitalize by hitting the GTS for the pinfall victory.

It will be interesting to see if Aldis can defeat the former World Heavyweight Champion at WWE SummerSlam.
