El Grande Americano has grown to become a beloved babyface in the Mexican promotion.

On May 30, Americano picked up an epic victory at the AAA Noche de los Grandes in the Mask vs Mask match. This forced the vanquished Original El Grande Americano to take off his mask and reveal himself to be Chad Gable.

After the blockbuster clash, the popular star took to Instagram and teased a special announcement that was close to his heart and urged fans to stay tuned.
