The Men’s and Women’s Speed Championships have been retired, as the champions have handed them in. This author has spoken to sources within WWE about the real reason two titles have now been retired by the company.
The sources revealed that the real reason the Speed titles were being handed in and retired was that they had enough championships in NXT. They have apparently been struggling to keep every title relevant at this time with the time they have weekly on TV.
