Trick Williams vs. Sami Zayn received 2.75 stars, which was the second-lowest-rated match of the night. Both matches were heavily inclined towards entertainment rather than wrestling, which seems to be a pattern.

Danhausen jokes major WWE star stole his finishing move

It’s no secret that Danhausen and CM Punk are friends in real life. The Second City Saint spoke highly of the 35-year-old star when they worked together in All Elite Wrestling, and Hausen eventually made his way to the Stamford-based promotion when Punk returned to the company for a second run in 2023.

In an appearance on WWE NOW, Danhause claimed that CM Punk stole his finisher. Hausen explained how Punk passed the move to him and retired. However, The Second City Saint quickly went back on the retirement and started to use the move.

The 35-year-old WWE star was obviously joking, as CM Punk has been using the move as his finisher for almost two decades. It’ll be interesting to see what’s next for Danhausen on Friday Night SmackDown in the coming weeks.
