Dakota Kai recently talked about how she had conversations backstage with several Bloodline members like Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa in WWE. She said in an interview on Ring The Belle:

No. But I do remember we were chatting. Me, Jey, and even Solo as well. I love that guy so much. He’s so funny. We would hang out sometimes, you know, chatting him up, like talking some Samoan. Trying to practice our Samoan.

Dakota Kai also spoke about her WWE departure

According to Dakota Kai, her departure from the Stamford-based promotion came as a big surprise for her.

Prior to her being out of the company, she had received new theme music for her entrance that made her think that the creative team were giving attention to her future. She said:

“I know. I had a new song. [When the release happened, the fans were so shocked.] I know. Yeah. It was one of those things where I thought, I’m finally getting some traction. I got a new song and things like that. So, it caught me off guard too. But I mean, at the end of the day, it is business. You know what I mean? For better or for worse. Now, I can just do what I love and just go out there, and I’ve got a whole bucket list of girlies I want to wrestle,” Kai said.

The former WWE star appears to have taken things in stride, and is looking forward to her future in the pro wrestling business.
