Cody Rhodes claims major WWE star is petty

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes took a shot at Sami Zayn today and suggested that the former champion was petty.

Rhodes defeated Zayn in a singles match last week on SmackDown. After the match, Gunther attacked the champion, and Sami Zayn refused to break it up. Instead, Zayn left the ring as the crowd in attendance booed him.

Speaking on ESPN’s First Take, the 40-year-old claimed Zayn was petty and claimed that he didn’t care about his actions. Zayn has been struggling as of late and lost the United States Championship to Trick Williams at WrestleMania 42 last month in Las Vegas.

“Betrayal is a dramatic word. I like a bit of drama, but I am phlegmatic in my outlook on Sami Zayn. I am unfazed by his petty a**, and that’s all it is. It’s petty. Petty,” Rhodes said.

It will be interesting to see if Cody Rhodes can retain his title at Clash in Italy this weekend.
