As part of the segment, Lesnar admitted that it was the ass-whooping that he was given at the hands of Oba Femi that forced him to reevaluate and decide he was done.

“I’ve had my share of ass whoopings over the years, but none quite like that, it was humbling. You beat my ass so bad I said ‘that’s it, I’m done’. But that doesn’t sit very well with me Oba. It’s not gonna end that way Oba Femi. Brock Lesnar can take an ass whooping, but can you? You’re gonna get your ass kicked by a humbled, retired beast. Brock Lesnar will conquer Oba Femi. I am gonna rule over Oba Femi,” he said.

The WWE Universe watched in shock as Lesnar took off his boots and gloves following the opening match on WrestleMania Sunday and walked up the ramp, signalling that he was done.

It was a massive moment after the recent retirements of AJ Styles and John Cena, but it seems that Lesnar didn’t last a month on the sidelines and had already plotted a way to return and have Brock Lesnar do his bidding.

Brock Lesnar changed his mind

Lesnar noted that he clearly changed his mind and now he’s back to take on Oba Femi at Clash in Italy. The match has already been billed as one of the biggest WrestleMania rematches in history, and it will be interesting to see if the result is the same as it was at WrestleMania.

Oba Femi has made it clear that it will be, but Brock Lesnar wants to rule over The Ruler and see if he is able to take the kind of beating that he dished out to him last month.

Oba Femi hasn’t fully been tested since making his WWE debut because there has been no one who could fully test him. Lesnar was expected to be that man, but WrestleMania turned into a glorified squash match, and now The Beast has to be hoping that Italy will head a very different outcome.
