He was also a key player for AAA, the promotion where Mysterio now works as the general manager. Psychosis was honored with the Cauliflower Alley Club’s Lucha Libre Award and it was presented to him by none other than Rey Mysterio. The WWE Hall of Famer took to Instagram to share a picture with his compatriot and wrote:

“We changed the game! Pareja 4️⃣Life @psicosisoficial @caulifloweralleyclub Lucha Libre award.”

Apart from Psychosis, another WWE legend Bret Hart also won the Lou Thesz award.

Chad Gable thanks Rey Mysterio for making him feel alive

WWE Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable had the honor of defending his newly won title against the legendary Mexican.

The two stars took on each other on Monday Night RAW a few weeks back and it was a great match with a lot of exciting moves and had the crowd on the edge of their seats. Gable picked up the win and immediately took to social media to thank the Hall of Famer. Posting pictures of them from the match, Gable wrote:

“Rey Mysterio is truly a human being like no other I’ve ever met. All class. Our encounter was, and is, everything I love about Pro Wrestling. I felt alive. Thank you, @619iamlucha.”

The two stars hugged it out in the ring after the match ended to show the fans how much they respect each other.
