“To tell you the truth, you probably wouldn’t remember whether or not I win or lost unless somebody went through and wrote it all down because it’s not that important. Guys win and lose all the time. So it’s best served where it’s at in the story. That’s what means the most to me. I couldn’t care less about wins and losses. They don’t mean anything. This is a show. This is pure entertainment. AJ Styles comments on WWE being PG

AJ Styles recently discussed WWE’s product and if it would ever change from being PG.

Speaking on his Phenomenally Retro podcast, the legend suggested that the company needed the product to be accessible to more countries now, and they may not have the same appreciation for blood in matches.

“I think there’s a time and a place for a storyline that has some blood in it,” Styles said (56:36 onward). “I get it. But to say that it will go back from PG to even a PG-13 or whatever it is that the next step is, I don’t know that we do that. I think the young is our foundation. We gotta be able to put shows in other countries as well. They may not like all that stuff. That might not be the thing that they want to see over there.

It will be interesting to see if AJ Styles makes any more appearances on WWE TV this year following his retirement.
