As such, there was high anticipation regarding her appearance on the show. But the segment never aired during the SmackDown broadcast and was later released as a digital-exclusive video where Paige responded to Nikki’s threat of making her life miserable.

Now, PWInsider has reported on the reason why the segment was removed from the show. According to the report, the video was originally slated for the blue brand’s broadcast but was cut due to “logistical reasons.”

With the show featuring a few lengthy promo segments and three title matches, it is possible that time constraints led to Paige’s video segment not being aired on SmackDown.

In the video, exclusively released on WWE digital platforms, the Anti-Diva addressed Nikki’s betrayal. She said Nikki reached out to her to replace her at WrestleMania 42, and she did it because she loved Brie.

The former Divas Champion then said that this is her house and she plans to stay here for a long time.

Paige and Nikki Bella go back-and-forth on social media

After Paige’s segment was removed from SmackDown, Nikki Bella fired a shot at her.

Reacting to the video that aired later on social media, Nikki mocked her rival, sarcastically asking if the segment aired during the commercial break, since she missed it entirely.

The Glampire then responded to Nikki’s comments in a post on X. She wrote that she was mocking the issue of a women’s segment being cut from the show when TV time is limited.

She then said she will see Nikki Bella next week on SmackDown.
