The timing could hardly be more interesting. The Street Champion has spent recent weeks developing a different personality away from The Bloodline, becoming more charismatic and even forming an unlikely alliance with LA Knight and Royce Keys. His forced return therefore creates an obvious question: Can Roman Reigns actually trust him?
Thus, Roman should not simply welcome Solo back and pretend their history never happened. Instead, the Original Tribal Chief could use this opportunity to make the faction stronger.
That said, in this article, we look at five ways Reigns could do it.
#5. Give Solo Sikoa a dangerous assignment
Roman Reigns could immediately test Solo Sikoa by giving him a dangerous assignment.
Rather than allowing Solo to ease back into The Bloodline, Roman could send him into a situation where failure would have serious consequences. That could mean confronting an enemy alone, protecting a family member from an attack, or taking on an opponent who has already proven difficult to defeat.
This would accomplish two things. First, it would establish whether Sikoa is genuinely prepared to serve Roman again. Second, it would remind him that returning to The Bloodline comes with responsibilities.
The Street Champion’s recent growth means he should not simply revert to being Roman Reigns’ silent enforcer. Giving him a difficult mission would force him to prove that he can contribute something valuable to the faction.
If Solo Sikoa succeeds, the OTC gains a dangerous soldier. If he fails, Roman learns exactly how much he can trust him.
#4. Make Solo Sikoa acknowledge him
Roman Reigns could also make Solo Sikoa acknowledge him. This would be particularly powerful because Solo previously positioned himself as the leader of The Bloodline in Reigns’ absence. He challenged Roman’s authority before their rivalry eventually ended with the OTC reclaiming control.
Now that Sikoa has been forced back into the family, the World Heavyweight Champion has an opportunity to reverse that power dynamic completely. He could make The Street Champion publicly acknowledge him as the Tribal Chief before allowing him to officially resume his place in the faction. It would not necessarily need to become an extended humiliation segment; just a simple acknowledgment could communicate that the hierarchy has changed.
Roman Reigns is the leader, and Solo Sikoa must accept that reality.
Jacob Fatu has already been through a similar process. After Roman defeated him in Tribal Combat, Fatu was forced to acknowledge Reigns. Thus, Solo could now face the same test.
#3. Pair Solo Sikoa with Jacob Fatu
Roman Reigns could kill two birds with one stone by pairing Solo Sikoa with Jacob Fatu. These two men have plenty of history. Their relationship became complicated during the previous Bloodline saga, and Jacob eventually turned against Solo.
However, more recently, both have found themselves back in Roman’s orbit. Thus, putting them together would force them to resolve their differences for the good of the family.
The OTC could deliberately give them a tag team assignment and tell them that personal issues do not matter anymore. They either cooperate or risk weakening The Bloodline.
Also, it could create an intriguing combination. Solo is calculated and methodical. Meanwhile, Jacob is an explosive powerhouse. If they genuinely learn to work together, Roman Reigns would have one of WWE’s most dangerous tag teams at his disposal.
#2. Force Solo Sikoa to cooperate with Jey Uso
This could be Roman Reigns’ most uncomfortable test for Solo Sikoa. Jey Uso is the man who forced Solo back into The Bloodline. That alone creates an awkward situation between them. Also, Sikoa has plenty of history with Jey. Thus, making their reunion anything but straightforward.
Roman could exploit that tension by forcing the two to team up. Instead of allowing Solo and Jey to avoid each other, the OTC could put them in matches where cooperation is mandatory. They would have to learn to trust each other in combat, regardless of their personal feelings.
That could eventually strengthen the entire faction. If The YEET Master can coexist with The Street Champion, Roman Reigns’ family unit becomes considerably more stable. Also, if Solo Sikoa proves he can put his ego aside and fight alongside Jey Uso, Roman gains another dependable member.
#1. Roman Reigns could make Solo Sikoa earn his position
Ultimately, Roman Reigns should make Solo Sikoa earn his place. The biggest mistake would be allowing Solo to return simply because Jey Uso’s victory forced him to do so. Sikoa previously challenged Roman’s leadership and built his own version of The Bloodline. Roman therefore has every reason to remain suspicious.
Instead of immediately restoring The Street Champion’s old status, the OTC could make him start from the bottom.
Solo Sikoa could be ordered to prove his loyalty through a series of challenges. He might have to protect Roman Reigns, assist The Usos, work alongside Jacob Fatu, and ultimately win an important match for the family. This would make his return meaningful.
More importantly, it would transform Solo’s forced return into an opportunity for character development. He would not be returning as the same man who left. He would have to demonstrate that he deserves to stand beside Roman again.
