#4. LA Knight

LA Knight currently feels somewhat directionless on RAW despite remaining one of WWE’s most popular stars. His last major premium live event appearance came at WrestleMania 42, where he teamed with The Usos to defeat Logan Paul, Austin Theory, and IShowSpeed in a six-man tag team match.

Following The Show of Shows, Knight appeared to be heading into a feud with Gunther after the two stars confronted each other backstage on RAW. However, those plans reportedly changed once Gunther moved to SmackDown to begin his rivalry with Cody Rhodes. As a result. Knight was absent from television for weeks.

Knight returned on the May 18 episode of RAW, but he still does not seem to have a clear direction heading into Clash in Italy. The Megastar rejected an alliance with Seth Rollins and also warned The Usos about reuniting with Roman Reigns in backstage segments.

The former United States Champion was seen walking out with his suitcase on the show, sparking speculation about a new direction. That said, it hasn’t been confirmed at the moment.

#3. Ilja Dragunov

Ilja Dragunov has quietly become one of the most directionless stars on SmackDown heading into Clash in Italy. Despite being one of WWE’s most intense in-ring performers, The Mad Dragon has struggled to gain any momentum in 2026. His win-loss record this year has been rough. Dragunov currently sits at 2-9 and has not won a televised match since defeating The Miz on SmackDown in January.

Before disappearing from major storylines, Dragunov was regularly involved in the United States Championship picture. His last major singles match came against Carmelo Hayes on the March 20 episode of SmackDown, where he unsuccessfully challenged for the title.

Like Carmelo, Dragunov also missed the WrestleMania 42 card. Instead, he competed in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal during WrestleMania week.

What makes the situation more surprising is that Dragunov is fully healthy and available. Reports have suggested that WWE creative simply does not have plans for him right now, which has left him without a clear feud or direction ahead of Clash in Italy.

#2. IYO SKY

IYO SKY currently finds herself without a clear direction on RAW following the end of her rivalry with Asuka. The two stars faced each other at Backlash 2026 in what was presented as the final chapter of their feud. SKY defeated Asuka after blocking the green mist and hitting the Over the Moonsault. After the match, the two shared a moment of respect inside the ring, which seemingly brought the rivalry to a close.

Following Backlash, WWE used SKY to help introduce Sol Ruca to the RAW roster. The two stars faced each other on the May 11 episode of RAW, where SKY picked up the win in a competitive match.

However, things have been quiet for her since then. IYO SKY was not featured on the following episode of RAW and currently does not have an active feud or a confirmed match heading into Clash in Italy.

#1. WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan won the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble Match and went on to defeat Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 42. It appeared that Morgan and Vaquer were set to continue their feud after The Show of Shows, as La Primera confronted the new champion on the following episode of RAW.

However, Vaquer was reportedly dealing with a real-life injury, and she was written off television as a result, leaving Morgan without a challenger. Even though she is the Women’s World Champion, The Miracle Kid currently lacks a proper direction.

Morgan has been involved in The Judgment Day’s storylines, hyping up Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez in the tag team division. The Miracle Kid currently has no challenger for her title heading into Clash in Italy.

It remains to be seen when Stephanie Vaquer returns to resume her rivalry with Liv Morgan. Reports suggest that La Primera could be back in the mix soon, which is why WWE may have held off on putting Morgan in a different rivalry. Since The Judgment Day attacked Vaquer to write her off television, the feud will likely pick up from there.
