That leaves Roman Reigns with a problem. The OTC has rebuilt his faction around Jey and Jimmy Uso, with Jacob Fatu nearby. However, Solo Sikoa’s refusal means another recruit could become necessary. If Roman wants to expand his family, these three names could be options.
#3. Sami Zayn
Sami Zayn would be the most unconventional option, which is precisely why Roman Reigns could consider him. Zayn famously became an honorary member of The Bloodline during Roman’s previous reign as Tribal Chief, earning the trust of several members before eventually turning against Reigns. That history makes another alliance extremely complicated. However, it also gives WWE plenty of material to revisit.
The key difference would be Zayn’s role. Reigns would not need another enforcer. The Underdog from the Underground could serve as the outsider who understands The Bloodline. He knows the OTC’s leadership style, understands the family’s internal politics, and has already demonstrated that he can earn the trust of people who initially distrust him.
Most importantly, Sami Zayn would give The Bloodline personality. Roman Reigns already has physical threats. Thus, what he could use next is someone who can talk, manipulate situations, and challenge the group’s enemies verbally as effectively as he can physically.
#2. Zilla Fatu
Zilla Fatu could be the bigger long-term gamble. Unlike Sami Zayn, he would represent the future of the Anoa’i family rather than someone returning from the faction’s past.
Roman approaching Zilla would immediately carry enormous implications because of the family’s history. The Bloodline has always been about legacy, power, and who deserves to stand beside the Tribal Chief. With Solo now rejecting Reigns, adding another young family member could allow the OTC to send a message: nobody is irreplaceable.
Also, Zilla Fatu brings a different physical presence. He has the size, aggression, and family connection that make him believable as a future Bloodline powerhouse. WWE has already introduced him on NXT. Thus, making him a logical candidate for a larger role if the company wants to connect the developmental brand to the main roster story.
There would be an obvious risk. Zilla should not simply become Roman Reigns’ obedient soldier. If WWE wants this recruitment to matter, Roman should have to convince him. That could create a fascinating story in which Fatu joins because he respects The Bloodline legacy, only to discover that serving Roman comes with a price.
The star could become both an asset and a future threat.
#1. Roman Reigns Could Approach Royce Keys Once He’s Back
Royce Keys is perhaps the most intriguing possibility because his return could completely change the balance of power. Keys is already involved in the Bloodline conflict. He stood alongside Solo Sikoa and LA Knight against Roman Reigns’ faction before Jacob Fatu’s attack left him injured.
That injury creates a storyline opening. Roman could approach Keys once he is cleared, not because the former AEW star has suddenly become loyal. However, because Reigns understands how valuable he could be.
Keys has firsthand experience with Jacob Fatu and The Usos. He knows the strengths and weaknesses of the people surrounding Roman. More importantly, recruiting him could be the OTC’s attempt to turn an enemy into an ally.
The storyline could become better if Royce Keys initially refuses. Roman Reigns could argue that Solo Sikoa rejected the family. Thus, Keys can choose the winning side. That would put Royce in a difficult position and let WWE explore whether loyalty is earned or demanded.
There is a connection to Solo. If Royce Keys returns and joins Roman, Sikoa could view the move as a personal betrayal. That would give the feud another emotional layer and a reason for Keys to become involved.
