2026 U.S. Open local qualifying starts Monday at these eight sites

The first wave of the U.S. Golf Association’s local qualifying events for the upcoming U.S. Open are coming this week.

There are eight on Monday, two on Tuesday and two more on Wednesday. There are 109 golf courses serving as local qualifying sites in 2026.

Local qualifying is 18 holes. For those advancing, final qualifying is a 36-hole gauntlet. Final qualifying events are May 18, May 25 and June 8, aka, Golf’s Longest Day.

The 2026 U.S. Open is June 18-21 at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York.
