In this article, we will discuss all these rumors and hope that two are true and three that aren’t.

#3. Hope not true: Randy Orton is not coming back

Randy Orton hasn’t appeared on WWE television since losing to then-Undisputed ChampionCody Rhodes at WrestleMania 42. The American Nightmare may have won the battle, but the Viper stood tall at the Show of Shows.

He laid waste to his former protege and made it clear that things are far from over. But his continued absence has cast doubt on his future.

As we are approaching SummerSlam 2026, many assume that the Viper might return to face the American Nightmare at the Biggest Party of the Summer.

In the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW, Cody Rhodes will challenge Sami Zayn for the Undisputed Championship. Those hoping to see the Viper make his presence felt shouldn’t get their hopes up.

According to a recent report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Randy is not expected to return on RAW. Moreover, the Legend Kil*er would not be involved in the Undisputed Championship program on the road to SummerSlam.

We hope that the rumor is not true. If Cody regains the title on RAW from Sami Zayn, Orton should return in time for SummerSlam to settle the score.

#2. Hope not true: Major power struggle behind the scenes

In the past few years, we have seen many backstage controversies regarding top stars in the Sports Entertainment juggernaut. Recently, a report by WRKD Wrestling described the backstage situation as a growing power struggle among some of the main-event WWE talents to maintain their top spots.

The insider further added that the present situation of SmackDown is a glimpse of this power struggle. Rumor has it that there’s a reason Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns have been kept on separate brands.

We hope that the rumor is not true. Such a power struggle in the main event scene would affect the storylines, and the company may fail to deliver some good creative direction.

#2. Hope true: The Bloodline’s WWE future

The Bloodline Saga is once again in full swing. Currently, Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Jacob Fatu are part of the family drama. There are rumors that Zilla Fatu is potentially joining the Stamford-based promotion soon.

The young star might be inserted into the Roman Reigns-led faction. According to False Finish, the current Samoan family storyline is expected to extend past WrestleMania 43.

We hope that the rumor is true. The long-running Bloodline storyline was cut short without a proper payoff. If the renewed program is in for the long haul, fans could see Roman Reigns lock horns with The Rock to determine the real Head of the Table.

The Triple H-led creative should explore all the possible aspects of the story before concluding it this time.

#1. Hope true: Rumor killer on Brock Lesnar dethroning Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Championship

On RAW after Night of Champions 2026, Brock Lesnar returned and attacked Oba Femi. The Beast Incarnate accepted The Ruler’s challenge for SummerSlam 2026, but added a Hell in a Cell stipulation for their rubber match.

After Sami Zayn won the Undisputed title, fans predicted that the Mayor of Suplex City might be on his way to capture the gold from Zayn. The Beast is known to end fairytale title runs, with chief among them being Kofi Kingston’s back in 2019.

However, reports debunked the speculation, stating that the company doesn’t appear to have such plans. This means that Lesnar is unlikely to dethrone Sami as the Champion, at least not before the Biggest Party of the Summer.

We hope that the rumor is true. Lesnar is currently engaged in a feud with Oba Femi, and if anyone deserves to win the title now, it’s the Nigerian Ruler. But WWE has decided to hold off on his crowning moment.

Regardless, the Beast has done it all and doesn’t need another world title run to define his legacy.

#1. Hope not true: WWE star to continue to be involved in The Bloodline Saga

Royce Keys is currently involved in The Bloodline story and is expected to continue to be involved in a capacity

Currently, The Bloodline is engaged in multiple storylines spread across WWE RAW & SmackDown. Amid this, sources disclosed that Royce Keys is expected to be involved in the family drama in some capacity.

On SmackDown, the ex-AEW star was part of multiple backstage segments with Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. The former MFT leader has been sticking his nose in The Bloodline’s business and is seemingly in cahoots with LA Knight to teach Roman Reigns’ group a lesson.

Royce Keys’ involvement in The Bloodline Saga doesn’t make sense, especially when it’s all about the family now. Considering this, we hope the rumor is not true, and WWE should figure out some new plans for Royce on the blue brand.
