The 59-year-old star was married twice, but didn’t have much luck there. She went through a divorce both times. But that didn’t stop her from believing in love.

Garcia stayed single for almost four years, and it was worth the wait. She met retired wrestler Patrick Ellrich, thanks to their mutual friend and WWE star, Xavier Woods, for bringing them together.

The couple took their relationship to the next level and got engaged last year. They were planning to get married in the summer of 2026. It seems like Garcia and Patrick had to speed things up.

On April 12th, 2026, Lilian Garcia took to her Instagram to announce that she and Patrick Ellrich exchanged wedding vows in a private ceremony.

Speaking to The Takedown on SI, Lilian Garcia revealed that the newlyweds planned a bigger wedding, which would have included their close friends like Trish Stratus and Candice Michelle.

But the wedding preparation became overwhelming and stressful for the couple, forcing them to reconsider their plans.

“It does make too much sense… Yeah, it’s like, boom, we get married, and then we’re off to Vegas for a WrestleMania honeymoon. Yeah, we were gonna do a bigger wedding with more friends, Garcia said. Trish Stratus was ready to fly in. Candice Michelle, like yeah, there were some people that were ready to fly in. But as we were preparing, it started getting very overwhelming. So, the joy started depleting and the stress of it started piling on.

WWE veteran Lilian Garcia further added that she originally planned to elope, but their friends ended up throwing them a reception barbecue.

“I went into my prayer closet, which has been so vital for me in receiving Christ. I went in there and I’m talking to God, and I’m just literally, like, ‘God, I know this is supposed to be about the unity of us and you being there to unite us. Why is this becoming so overwhelming and so stressful?’ And all I kept hearing was, make it simple. Make it simple… We could not have orchestrated this any better. During the ceremony, we were overlooking a bridge and you could hear the water flowing and the birds chirping. It was so peaceful. The whole vibe was peaceful.”

Lilian Garcia took to her Instagram to share photos of her intimate wedding. In the caption, she wrote the following message:

WWE star Xavier Woods attended the wedding, as can be seen in her post. Lilian Garcia and Patrick Ellrich may be heading to WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas for a mini honeymoon, but they have planned a big honeymoon in Spain this July.
