#5. Update on former tag team champions after recent exit tease

This past week on WWE RAW, Angel and Berto were found and squashed by Oba Femi in a handicap match. The former AAA Tag Team Champions later teased an exit from the Stamford-based promotion, blacking out their social media profile pictures and thanking the fans for believing in Los Garza despite not appearing on television for months.

However, Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer later provided an update about the pair. With AAA looking to get a US TV deal, Angel and Berto will not be leaving WWE anytime soon. According to Alvarez, Los Garza will likely remain with the promotion despite the recent releases becoming a cause for anxiety.

“Also, the feeling is Angel and Berto aren’t going anywhere, and with AAA looking for a US TV deal, most likely a lot of the Hispanic talent are probably safe for the moment”, claimed Bryan Alvarez.

#4. Massive WWE and TKO Update surrounding future events

In a recent update from WWE and TKO, it was revealed that the company had signed an agreement with Arizona Sports & Entertainment Alliance to bring major shows in the future to the state. The agreement included not only WWE shows but also UFC, PBR and Zuffa boxing events.

Now, Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer has issued a clarification on the deal. According to him, the agreement between the two parties is for a future edition of Survivor Series, Royal Rumble and Saturday Night’s Main Event.

As a result, fans can expect two of the company’s big four events to head to Arizona in the near future, alongside another edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were recently granted their release by WWE after they refused to agree to a renegotiated contract offered by the company. The New Day’s exit has sent shockwaves across the industry, with many wrestlers and legends shocked at their departure.

According to Fightful Select, the legendary duo is expected to head to AEW now that they are no longer with the Stamford-based promotion. However, they are currently expected to appear at several conventions, the first of which is GalaxyCon this month.

A potential move to Tony Khan’s company would only happen after their no-compete clause expires, which is expected to be for 90 days at the very least.

CM Punk has not been seen on WWE RAW since the post-WrestleMania episode, where he had a confrontation with Cody Rhodes. The former World Heavyweight Champion has been taking time off after his intense clash with Roman Reigns in the main event of Night Two of the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Now, Punk is no longer being advertised for the WWE shows in June, set to take place in Europe during their summer tour of the continent. The company will travel for Clash in Italy at the end of the month, but it now seems like Punk will not be involved after being quietly removed from the cover of several episodes of RAW on WWE’s website.
