Mercedes Moné, formerly known as Sasha Banks, shared that she snuck into WrestleMania to watch Bayley perform.
In an interview with Daily Star, the AEW Women’s World Champion noted that The Role Model was her best friend in wrestling, and she wanted to watch her match at The Show of Shows. Banks walked out of WWE in 2022 alongside Naomi after frustrations with their booking as Women’s Tag Team Champions.
“If I wanted to say which match, I would’ve put it in my Money Mag. Everybody knows that Pam is my best friend in wrestling. There’s been many matches I’ve been to, and she’s been to many of my matches too, supporting me. When you have people like that in your life, you show up for important things in theirs. I love being in disguise and hiding, and I’m always going to support her because she’s the best,” she said.
It will be interesting to see which WWE star wins the grudge match later tonight on RAW.
