Following a Triple Threat Match for a spot in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, WWE announced that Netflix will become the new home for its programs in Japan starting October 1, 2026. The company’s programming is set to leave ABEMA at the end of September after the conclusion of its three-year deal.
The official graphic promoting World Wrestling Entertainment’s move to Netflix in Japan featured the logos of RAW, SmackDown, and NXT. This means all of the sports-entertainment juggernaut’s major weekly shows will be available on the streaming service to Japanese viewers.
Netflix’s partnership with the Triple H-led company has been highly successful. An executive recently said World Wrestling Entertainment had hit “every metric” since RAW moved to the popular streaming service. It will be interesting to see how the coalition fares in the Japanese market.
