“Challenge open every Friday, Champ. Winner takes all tho,” Hayes wrote.

Hayes became the United States Champion last month by defeating Ilja Dragunov. He has continued the tradition of hosting open challenges for the title every week. This week, the 31-year-old successfully retained the championship against Rey Fenix.

CM Punk vs. Carmelo Hayes certainly sounds like a match that would steal the show. It remains to be seen if The Second City Saint completes his Grand Slam quest in WWE.

Bron Breakker breaks character to praise CM Punk

Bron Breakker and CM Punk had a grueling World Heavyweight Championship match on the first RAW of 2026. Despite a valiant effort by the young star, he was unable to dethrone The Best in the World.

Even though they are rivals on-screen, The Dog of WWE recently broke character to heap praise on the World Heavyweight Champion. During an exclusive interview with ComingSoon.net, Breakker gave Punk his flowers, stating that The Second City Saint was the best talker in history.

“Punk, in my opinion, is the greatest promo in the history of the game. I don’t think anyone’s better than him,” he said. (H/T Fightful)

Bron Breakker will look to punch his ticket to WrestleMania 42 by potentially winning the Men’s Royal Rumble Match.
