The pole-sitter heading into Sunday’s race, Reddick shined throughout the race, particularly during its final stage. He swept aside Hamlin with 10 laps left, appearing to put him in position to add another gemstone to his collection.

Hamlin pulled him level, then went beyond him in the race’s waning moments, with Reddick’s car running out of fuel. The 23XI Racing star benefitted from a caution with two laps to go, setting up a do-or-die overtime period.

Reddick mowed down Larson, securing his fifth win of the season. With his victory, Reddick became the first driver since Dale Earnhardt Sr. to win five of the first nine races of the Cup Series season.
